SEA STORM — Original Oil Painting

An original semi-abstract seascape created in March 2024. The painting is built almost entirely in shades of blue, from deep and intense tones to lighter variations, creating the feeling of a sea caught in the middle of a storm.

What makes this work distinctive is the balance between abstraction and a recognisable subject. From one perspective, the painting can be seen as an abstract arrangement of colour, movement and texture; from another, the shapes and changing blue tones suggest turbulent water and a stormy sky.
