My name is Svetlana Shavrina, and I create under the artist name Lana Swan. Blueberry Swan is my official online gallery and shop, where I present my original paintings and selected fine art prints.
I am an Eastern European artist based in London, UK, and I have been painting for over 20 years. I studied at an Art School and a Professional Ballet School and later earned a university degree in Mathematics.
I am a member of the Artists’ Trade Union, and my paintings are held in more than 100 private collections across the UK, New Zealand, Switzerland, the USA, Cyprus, Canada, Ireland, the UAE, and other countries.
I have lived in different cities across Russia, as well as in Dubai, and I am now based in London. Each place has influenced me in its own way and has become part of how I see the world and what I bring into my paintings.
My work has been exhibited internationally at Fair Ladya (Winter and Summer editions), StartArt at the International Exlibris Museum, World Art Dubai, Art Shopping at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, and various local exhibitions and art events.
I work primarily in the tradition of Post-Impressionism, creating oil paintings inspired by places, nature, and personal experience. Colour, light, and atmosphere are at the heart of my work. Every painting has its own story behind it, capturing a moment, a place, or an emotion that inspired its creation. I also explore themes through Pop Art and contemporary expressive painting.
Every original painting is created by hand using professional-quality materials from Europe and the United States. Each piece is unique and is never reproduced.
