PEACEMAKER — Original Oil Painting

An original oil painting created in March 2024. Red, blue, green and black come together in an intense abstract scene, with layers of paint creating depth and movement across the canvas.

The painting reflects on the instability of the contemporary world and the real meaning of the word “Peacemaker.” Is a peacemaker someone who truly brings peace, or can the actions taken in the name of peace also cause destruction? There is no simple answer in the painting — the contradiction is part of the work itself.
