Hi Dears!
My name is Svetlana Shavrina. I was born on July 10, 1986 in Kuibyshev city, Soviet Union. My family belongs to the noble family of Michurins. My Mather, Irina Shavrina, was in maiden Michurina. My grandfather Mikhail Michurin moved to Kuibyshev (nowadays Samara) after the Second World War.
I’m an Eastern Europe painter based in London, UK, the member of Artists Trade Union and certified by Akoun (France) as a professional painter.
I got an education at Maths gymnasium and then I earned The Math Degree at Samara State University. Along the formal education I was focused on creative growth as well studying at a professional ballet school and later at the Art School N1 for adults in Samara city, Russia.
My first works were with soft pastel, town landscapes on paper. Nowadays I prefer classic techniques and styles, usually use oil paints or paints with a knife with joyous colors and warm palette to bring an energy of calmness and inspiration to any piece of art.
My paintings mostly represent nature landscapes in post-impressionism style to capture the beauty of the world.
As experimental style I have created limited collections in abstract and psychedelic ones. I have painted just several works, but all of them are emotional and soulful for me.
I was included into the UNITED REGISTER of the PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS of the Russian Empire, the USSR, Russian emigration, Russian Federation and the republics of former Soviet Union (XVIII-XXI centuries).

I participated in different International art exhibitions, museum expositions and art-fairs.
2021 – Twice participant of the exhibition-fair Ladya (Moscow, Russia).
2022 – Participant of the StartArt exhibition in the International Exlibris Museum (Moscow, Russia).
